Publishers' Letter: We Are Gay Sports

When we first started publishing Compete Magazine™ in 2007 many people thought that “gay” and “sports” were not compatible. In fact, except for Outsports.com, very little attention was paid to gay sports. After three and half years in print, we feel we have helped to change this.

In Print
Compete continues to break ground as the only gay sports magazine. Due to the overwhelming response of our readers we have recently expanded our circulation and, drum roll please, now publish Compete 12 times per year.

With our expansion comes another announcement — very soon Compete will be available nationwide at a big-box bookstore near you.
