It’s officially pool time!
I’ve been talking about it for a few months now … and it’s finally here. You’re reading our 4th Annual Swimsuit Issue! Our magazine debuted in 2007 with the Swimsuit Issue, and it quickly became one of our most popular and anticipated issues. One of the reasons is because, since the beginning, we’ve used only “real people” (whatever that means).
Each year we’ve sought out gay athletes from around the country, and always end up with a stellar group of participants. Every time I’m amazed at the willingness of these folks to give up an entire day or more, and am so appreciative of their patience along the way. Aside from being super-excited about the finished product (which begins on page XX), I’m equally as proud to have these Las Vegas athletes as part of our community.
While our Swimsuit Feature dominates this issue, there are some other things you will be interested in, as well. Aaron Brost covered the Coady Roundball Classic in Chicago, Patricia Nell Warren has written about the gay polo championships, and – since skimpy swimsuit season is approaching, after all – Toni Filipone has some advice for losing that “extra skin” you might have after getting into swimsuit shape.
What a great issue to usher in our 4th year! With so many exciting issues coming up throughout the rest of 2010, I can definitely promise it will only get better.
