As you know, we've celebrated David Rae as the 2012 Compete Athlete of the Year--he participated in his first AIDS LifeCycle (ALC) in 2008,becoming a top
fund raiser for the event. We've now learned there will be a new rider--Randy Phillips. LGBT/:POV reports:
Remember Airman Randy Phillips? He's the "regular guy" who posted a video of his call to his father to come out as gay after the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Well, he's decided to participate in this year's AIDS/LifeCycle – the AIDS fundraising bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles – after an exchange with WeHo-based filmmaker Ryan James Yezak. Phillips has set a goal of raising $10,000 and is asking for help.
so excited to have an out military many doing the ride with my Team for the Aids/Lifecycle in june. Randy has amazing fans and has already raised over $10,000 for the ride.
